Knock Out
Knock Out is a modern shrub rose best treated as a landscape plant rather than a hybrid-tea substitute. It is useful where repeat bloom and reduced disease management matter, but it still needs sun, spacing, and monitoring for RRD.
Growing notes
In humid regions, choose it for reduced black spot pressure but keep sanitation and airflow. In hot regions, establish roots deeply before expecting drought tolerance. In cold regions, check local winter survival and graft/own-root status.

- A fresh bloom and an older bloom.
- Leaf upper and lower surfaces.
- Cane base, graft or own-root shoots if visible.
- Any disease, mite, herbicide, or RRD-like symptoms with dates and weather context.
Common cautions
- Do not use the brand name to identify every red landscape rose.
- RRD can infect Knock Out roses, so distorted cane growth should still be triaged.
